Do you feel like you are getting too old for Cub Scouts? Tired of all those same Cub Scout games and activities? Ready for something new? Well hold on to your Pack cap because the adventure has only just begun - it's called Boy Scouting and you are invited to join...

As a 5th Grade Webelos II you have two important jobs:
  1. Complete the Arrow of Light requirements as listed in your Webelos book because this coming February Pack 82 will have an Arrow of Light ceremony, and we want you to graduate.
  2. Visit and get to know one or more Boy Scout Troops. We are fortunate to have two great Troops nearby, and they want you to join.

Troop 140

Troop 140 in Middleton has strong leadership and an excellent program. They have been an asset to the community for more than 30 years. The Troop will be having a pool and pizza party in December for anyone who has not yet earned their aquanaut pin. They also traditionally invite 5th Grade Webelos II Scouts on their January outing. For more information visit their website.

Troop 87

Troop 87 in Cross Plains has an enthusiastic Scoutmaster. He and his group of leaders have lit a new fire. Scouting spirit is burning strong and bright in Cross Plains. The Troop has recently invited Pack 82 Webelos to the following events:

For Webelos I and Webelos II

  • Monday, September 22 from 6:30 - 8:30 pm at Festge Park. Scouts are to wear their uniforms and bring their parents. This will be a great time for the parents to ask questions of the Boy Scout Leaders.

For more information, visit Troop 87's website.

Cub Scout Day Camp

Cub Scout Day Camp was held this year on July 1-3 at Festge Park outside of Cross Plains. The theme this year was "Treasures of the Sea".

Campers enjoyed three full days of camp fun and activities including fishing, archery, bb gun, obstacle course, rope tieing, beading, music, food, etc.

There was over 160 energetic area cub scouts and their siblings that attended. Twenty of which were from Pack 82.

A big "Thank You" goes out to the 11 Pack 82 parents that chaperoned or assisted with the camp stations. Without volunteers like you this camp would not be possible.
