Pack 82 Kickoff &
Parent Meeting

Join us at our Pack 82 2008-2009 Kickoff on
Thursday, September 25th at 7:00 pm in the school cafeteria.

Parents will meet to form Dens and accomplish Den organization for the year. Some age groups will have a very short meeting, while others, especially first and second grade parents, may have a longer meeting.

Just a reminder...for Cub Scouting to be successful, it is imperative to have strong parental involvement! Come with your ideas and family calendars.

Cub Scout Books/Uniforms
Neckerchiefs and Cub Scout books are provided every year by the Pack. If you have not received your neckerchief or book yet call Rich Schmidt at 836-1352.

Unifoms may be purchased at the Glacier's Edge Scout office at 5486 Manufacturers Drive, off Hwy 51 N past the airport. Call 273-1005 for store hours.

Cub Scout Uniforms Include:

Tiger Cubs (1st Grade): Orange Tiger T-Shirt
Wolf Cubs (2nd Grade) and Bear Cubs (3rd Grade): Blue Cub Scout Shirt (recommend short-sleeved), Wolf/Bear neckslide, and uniform patches which include the following patches: Council patch, Patch "82" numerals and your Den number (ask your den leader for your den's number).
Webelos (4th & 5th Graders). Same as Wolf/Bear except Webelos neckslide is different and boys may wear either the blue or khaki shirt. When your son outgrows the blue shirt, we recommend that you buy the khaki shirt because it may also be used in Boy Scouts.

Boys should wear UNIFORMS to school on Pack and Den Meeting Days. Show your pride!!

Popcorn Forms Available
Pack 82 Popcorn Fundraiser begins on September 25th. Don't forget to pickup your popcorn order forms at this meeting.

Cub Scout Day Camp

Cub Scout Day Camp was held this year on June 20-22 at Brigham County Park. The theme this year was "Survivor Island".

Campers enjoyed three full days of camp fun and activities including fishing, archery, bb gun, obstacle course, rope tieing, beading, music, food, etc.

There was over 160 energetic area cub scouts and their siblings that attended. Eleven of which were from Pack 82.

A big "Thank You" goes out to the 11 Pack 82 parents that chaperoned or assisted with the camp stations. Without volunteers like you this camp would not be possible.
